i feel your warmth“Riku?” a voice whispered, soft and gentle. “Riku, are you in here?”

Slowly and cautiously, the girl cracked the oak door open and tiptoed inside, the light from the other room piercing the darkness stretched before her. Eyes still adjusting to the pitch-blackness, she wasn’t sure if a certain gloomy, silver-haired boy was inside, sulking.

“Maybe,” a quiet voice said in reply, so quiet and brief it almost wasn’t heard.
The girl sighed.

“Come out here,” she said. “Sitting in there by yourself and shutting everything and everyone out can’t be healthy for you.”
